Ora Horton Drayton

African Woman African Tee Tee

A true daughter of the African Diaspora, Ora Horton Drayton is originally from Liberia, West Africa. She presently lives in Atlanta, Georgia and is the mother of three children (Stephen, Derrick, and Nikki) and grandmother of six precious grandchildren.

It was not until her sophomore year in college that Ora actually realized that she had both a natural talent and a fervent love for writing. Following in the footsteps of her parents both avid writers, she began writing poetry and short stories that she would often share with her family, friends and professors who encouraged her to publish her work.  Underway is a compilation of her writings that will soon be published.
