Cassandra has studied acting with Emmy award-winning actor Greg Alan Williams and Bill Duke's Actor Bootcamp. Cassandra appeared in an episode of TV One's "Fatal Attraction" in February 2016. She has also appeared in films such as Selma (2015) and Steel Magnolias (2012). Her dance talent was discovered at the early age of three. She began training and performing dance at age five and never stopped. She continues to dance professionally.
She made her directorial debut when she was asked to direct and produce a music video that subsequently aired on Black Entertainment Television (BET) and remained in heavy rotation for over a year due to viewer requests.
Her film directing and acting debut was the film The Altar (2006) starring Elisabeth Omilami and L. Warren Young. Hollis produced, directed and wrote the award-winning film which aired on the TCT Television network from 2011 - 2013. Hollis starred in a three-part series which she also wrote, directed and produced entitled Mattie, Johnny and Smooth White Stones (2004), Mattie, Johnny and Smooth White Stones: Part II (2006) and Mattie, Johnny and Smooth White Stones: Part III (2007). The three part series was selected for inclusion in the National Park Service Underground Railroad Network to Freedom Program."

In addition to her Film/TV and Stage roles, Cassandra has appeared in commercials including WalMart, Verizon, LogiTech and others.
Cassandra has performed with Ballethnic Dance Company of Atlanta, Endure Dance Company of Chicago, IL, and is currently a Company member of ViZion International Dance Company. A Minister of Dance, Cassandra has led Dance ministries at three Atlanta area Churches. Currently, she serves as Director of the Divine Praise Dance Ministry of Friendship Community Church.
